That's all folks

I am now back in Perth and writing from the comfort of being both indoors and 10 metres away from the nearest toilet. The satellite was dismantled by the time I emerged from the cave on my last day at the Nullarbor so I couldn't post my goodbye and thank you's.

I'd just like to give a huge heartfelt thank you to everyone involved who made this trip possible: the WA Museum and Flinders University; the field crew: Clay, Sam Fields, Dave, Nick Mayman, Gavin, Grant, Sam Arman, Carey, Paul, Aidan, Roger, and Nick (thank you all for much for such an awesome experience!!); to the project team back home: Morgan, Danielle and Danny; and to fire, a natural magnet for wet feet, drenched clothes, filled kettles, hungry stomachs and uncooked food. Without fire we would have been interminably wet, eating cold food, freezing at night, and very cranky without our morning coffee.

I hope our readers enjoyed viewing our blogs and videos from the Nullarbor as much as we enjoyed experiencing it all.

I wish the Flinders boys all the best for the rest of their expedition out there, they won't be seeing home for another 10 days or so and I hope they make some awesome discoveries. Good luck!
