Western Australia is a vast and ancient land, shaped by natural and human forces. Occupying a third of the Australian continent, it is home to a kaleidoscope of cultures and landscapes.

Our quest for a sustainable future depends on understanding the relationship between the diverse people and places of this State. Serious environmental and social issues demand attention. Looking at our actions in the past may help us deal with these challenges in the future.
