The WA Museum's Department of Terrestrial Vertebrates is actively engages in research on frogs all across the state. One result is the publication of a number of high-quality informative books, CDs and posters made for anyone interested in WA frogs.

Frogs of Western Australia

The flagship frog book in Western Australia, written by Australia's frog guru Mike Tyler with Laurie Smith and Ron Johnstone. The book covers over 80 species known to occur in WA and includes photographs, detailed descriptions, distribution maps, identification keys and much more.






Frogs of the Kimberley poster

Our new poster for 2006 shows most of the species that live in WA's far north in the Kimberley region. A2 size and full colour available now in the WA Museum's Discovery Centre at the Perth site. Free for the asking while supplies last.
