The James Matthews

James Matthews A wreck in Cockburn Sound

The wreck discovered in Cockburn Sound by the members of the Underwater Explorers' Club of WA on 22 July 1973, was identified as the James Matthews. Little was known about the ship until research in London revealed it to have been a slaver, the Don Francisco.
