Significant events in war and peace relating to Western Australia are showcased in this gallery. The exhibition explores the role of naval defence in protecting territory, people and trade, the development of defence, the Royal Australian Navy's post war role and the strategic importance of Fremantle as an allied submarine base during World War 2 are also examined.
