Medium to large dull orange yellow, or sometimes reddish dragonfly. Often flies together in groups of 20 or so in the leigh of a tree etc.

A wide range of still waters, including temporary ponds and swamps. Found throughout the tropics and warmer regions of the world. Migrant - has even been recorded in England.
