Seeking a new life after the war, migrated to Australia. After leaving Northam migrant camp, worked for five years for railways on Nullabor in Haig and Reid. Son Edward born in Kalgoorlie in 1953. Eventually settled in Belmont and worked for Belmont council. Eight grandchildren.
