"Bill" Batchelor was married twice, had 6 children & many grandchildren. He worked on farms before joining the WAER. He served his communities as a railway line inspector & repairer for over 20 yrs. He belonged to the Railway Workers Union, the Druids Lodge & the Methodist Church.
