Came to Australia on the Group Settlement Scheme. This didn't work out, so went into the building trade as carpenter. Beale family still remain in building industry. Alan Beale became one of the greatest soccer players of this century in WA. Beale Park in Spearwood is named after him. Beale families remain around Fremantle area today.
