Farmed in Salmon Gums and Esperance districts. Was a pioneer of the Esperance Newland Development in the 1950's. Awarded an MBE in 1980 for services to agriculture and local government. Married Betsy Sime in 1941. Children - Charlotte 1942, George 1946 dec 1947 & Thomas 1947.
