Rein & Nel Bykerk arrived with 2 daughters aged 12 & 13 & 1 son aged 3. Were first housed in Rivervale , sharing house with other migrant families. Nel died Nov 2001 aged 80. Both Rein & Nel assimilated and learned the English language well.
