Charles Stephen Dugmore was fourteen when he arrived at Fremantle with his parents, brothers and sisters. Settling on the Golden Pipeline. Charles known as Charlie moved to Fremantle working at Mills & Wares and later Plaistowes until his retirement. He married Mary Florence Stewart from a pioneer family from Ravensthorpe. They settled in Belmont raising a family.
