The Edwards children contributed to the development of Western Australia. Margaret Annie married James Cousins in Wagin where their six children were born. Joseph Withers was involved in whaling in Carnarvon. George Oswell OBE Town Clerk of Perth 1966-1981. Eric Geoffrey OAM developed Prevelly Park, Margaret River.
