Brought up by his sister in Croatia. After travelling through Europe he settled in the Goldfields 1926. Married Nevenka Jović. They had 5 children. Passionate about the traditions of his heritage eg. spit roasts, wine making & bowls (European). Moved to South Perth for his retirement.
