Read their story

John Komininos Kannis was a tailor by trade. In his short life (he died aged 49 years of heart failure) he achieved much worth. As well as supporting his immediate family he went on to marry a Greek girl of similar background but Australian born. Whilst fiercely proud of his heritage he embraced organisations such as the Freemasons in Subiaco, and assimilated with his chosen country with great enthusiasm. He secured several properties in Rokeby Road which today has proven an excellent investment. His legacy are his wife and four children.
