John and Rachel Kerr from Glasgow, together with their daughters Mary (18) and Christina (16) arrived in Fremantle in 1927 to join family members. Mary married Gilbert McKinnon, Chris married George Ross and they soon established long and happy family lives in Midland WA. We admire their courage and determination.
