In 1944 the Kleiners left Novi Sad, as the Russian Army advanced & settled in Bischofshoffen. They came to Melbourne via Fremantle, as migrants & went to Bonegilla. Settling in Melbourne, Dad worked as a screen printer & Mum in a Dutch Wafer factory: the daughters were educated at the Good Shepherd Convent. The family prospered investing in shops and real estate.
