Marianne & Ferdinand (Ferry) Korwill arrived 1938 with daughter (Katrin). Ferry designed & built first WA solar hot water system. Engineer/Plumbing Consultant in many major WA projects. President Art Gallery Society. Marianne was active in art, music, social and political issues. Cofounder Chamber music society. Both were life members of the ALP.
