Read their story
James and his brother Samuel operated the Wheal Ellen mine. Married Mary Ann Bartram (1875). Mary died in 1876 and James remarried (1879) to Leah Diana Sainsbury in Northampton. He became a pastoralist during the 1880s at Yallalong Station. He was a hotelier of the Miners Arms in Northampton.
