William's wife Mary, son Thomas (3½yrs) & sister-in-law Sarah Brankin arrived on the 'Rangatira' 1911. William & Mary settled in Cannington & had 7 children. They took up dairying & were regular successful exhibitors of cattle in the Cannington Show. William also served on the Canning Shire Council.
