Son of John & Ann (nee Judge). He changed his name to John Hepton. He married Gladys White on the 5 October 1931. They lived in Narrogin, then Bunbury. They had 5 children - Percy, Nancy, Raymond, Stanley (died at 17hrs old), & John. Played soccer for combined WASF against England in 1927.
