WA Museum Sandbox

The WA Museum Sandbox is where we publish our collection APIs for use by the public and researchers. We will also be posting our Open Source software products for free download in the near future.

Available APIs and XML feeds

The API uses REST methods, and can be queried via JSON and XML.

Western Australian Shipwrecks

http://www.museum.wa.gov.au/maritime-archaeology-db/export/wrecks - this will dynamically generate an XML file for download - this contains only Shipwrecks information (no artefact data) - roughly 1500 wrecks.
