Guido and Maria D ̀‰Abbondio travelled to Fremantle with their first born child Marisa. They joined Meri's parents in Fitzgerald St Perth until they bought their first home in Leederville in 1955. Two daughters were born after their arrival. Giulia 1950 and Debra 1958.
