Admitted Barnardos Home for Destitute Children, London, aged 3 years. Foster Home - Little Wretton, Norfolk. At 11 years, sailed on SS Beltana and transferred to Fairbridge Farm School, Pinjarra, Western Australia. At 21 years, eligible to leave Fairbridge care. Employed Pinjarra Hospital until World War II. Joined Royal Australian Air Force Active Service whilst studying for a Radiographic career, and during War Service. Post World War II, employed as a Radiographer while studying Spinal Therapy and Physical Treatment, practising it and owning a 'Practice' until retirement at 80 years of age.
