Andrzej & Katrina were both taken prisoners as young teenagers. They worked on farms belonging to the Germans. After the war they were taken to Hannover as displaced persons where they met, married and had their first child. They were chosen to come to Australia in 1950. After Northam were contracted to work in Trayning for 2 years.
