Newlyweds Frank & Edith Brooks arrived in Western Australia from England in 1913. They took up land in Koorda in 1917 and became Wheat & Sheep farmers. The couple has four children Roland, Joan, Owen & May. "Brooklands" has been farmed by son Roland since Frank's death in 1963. Edith died in 1975.
