Read their story

Simon (Zygmunt) was a soldier in French Army, captured by Germans & spent rest of the war in a POW Camp. Maria was German & grew up through the bombings. They met & married after WW2, & to escape prejudice (German/French Pole) immigrated to WA to provide a safer lifestyle for themselves and their daughters Elke and Genia.
