Edmund & Laura Essex Jackson had their son Leslie George Edmund on 17 Aug 1909, one month after arriving in Australia. The family of five took up virgin land at Kirk Rock & established York Farm, so named after Edmund's home county Yorkshire. This farm is still worked by descendants today.

  • Edmund and Laura Jackson were my grandmothers grandparents, I would love to know more about the farm and if it is still actually worked by descendants today.
