  • Anna was previously married before meeting Joseph & had a son with her first husband, who was named Siegfried. During the war Anna was forced to into leaving her son with her first husband & was never to see him in person again. She assumed her had died during the war. He was later found by one of Elizabeth's daughters to be living in Germany & he was then able to make contact with Anna before her death. They spoke on the phone & he was also reunited with Elizabeth & her other daughter when they visited Germany in 2007. Siegfried is the splitting image of Anna, sharing the same beautiful, bright blue eyes.
