Read their story

Frederick William Nash was born in Scunthorpe, UK. Dorothea Beatrice Nash (nee Richards) was born in Alahabad, India. Met in India during the war, married & returned to live in England after the war. A combination of bitterly cold winters and the experience of having lived in warmer climes, Thea's parents already settled in Perth and the prospect of a better life led them to migrate. They arrived with their young son Brian and Thea heavily pregnant wiih the next child (Christine). They settled in South Perth, had 2 more children in the next decade (Derek 1955 and Heather 1958). Fred died in 1991 and Thea lives in South Perth to this day.
