Arthur arrived in Fremantle when he was 8 years old. He became the proprietor of WA Marble & Granite and Preston Timber WA. Arthur married Olivia Marie Reghanzani and had four children. Arthur represented WA in soccer. He was a founding committee member of the WA Italian Club.
