Read their story

At the age of 14 he left Italy (Rome) and sailed 32 days arriving in Fremantle in 1938. Worked on the railways, forestry and then went to Morawa with brother. Was a farmhand/odd jobs. Eventually bought his own property in Morawa where he lived for most of his 83 years. He brought back a bride from Italy. Melina was 17 years old. They raised 8 children. He has now retired in Hazelmere, Perth.
