Read their story

Stefano arrived in Australia in 1949 to work at Valenti's vineyard in the Swan Valley. He then moved to Kalgoorlie to work on the Lakewood Woodline, then as a mechanic for Paolechi & Sons , then as a miner at Lake View & Star. He sent for his family in 1953 but never returned to Italy.
