A missionary with WA Missionary society, Guildford. Superintendent of the Methodist Native mission, Wanneroo. Superintendent Methodist Sunday School for 20 years. Earned a living as a tailor. Procured land at Greenough in 1857, took up farming there 1859 which he continued until his death in 1895.
