Continued on to Melbourne, returning to WA September 1974. Went to Esperance as a roustabout and abalone sheller. Then Darwin for Christmas and Cyclone Tracy, evacuated to Perth, met Thea Marinich, married, had three children, Joe, Jane and Tom. Today lives in Swanview and owns A1 Motors & Auctions in Midland.
