Dick was determined to come to Australia, sailing away from Holland at the age of 20, leaving behind his family, friends & fiance. His fiance, Fredy, soon followed by plane & they married in Tasmania in 1969. They have two children, Bianca & Michael & two grandchildren, Amy and Noah.
