Enlisted WW1 serving with Royal Irish Regiment in France. Member Royal Irish Constabulary and Royal Ulster Constabulary before migrating to Western Australia. Worked in the Goldfields of WA before enlisting in Australian Army 23/7/1940 to 12/5/1947, based in Claremont, WA. Married, 2 sons.
